After learning
to play hide-and-seek with his friend Little Bird, Moon Bear
decides to play the game with the moon. When the moon slides
behind some clouds, Moon Bear can’t find the heavenly
body. Oh dear! “I think the moon is lost,” says
Bear and then he asks the other forest animals to help find
it.
Search as they might, the animals have no luck until the clouds
move away and Moon once again shines down on them. “Bear
was so happy he danced and danced.”
A simple story with pleasant illustrations, this Moon Bear
story is ideal for young readers who are just beginning to
read. The dialogue and sentence structure is manageable and
the vocabulary is fairly basic. All in all, this story will
be pretty easy to manage and make the youngster feel good
about his or her new reading skills.
