This popular children's picture book has been reissued with a new cover. The board book focuses on three little owls who wake up one night to discover their mother is gone. The illustrations capture the worry the little one's experience when there's no adult in the nest .

While two of the owls try to figure out where their mother has gone, the third just keeps repeating, "I want my mommy!" Although this is a worrisome situation, and one small children can relate to (a parent suddenly not near-by), it all ends happily.

When the mother owl returns she tells her little ones, "What's all the fuss? You knew I'd come back."

Young children need reassurance that their parents will always return if they have to leave the house for a short time and this cute book provides that message. You'll find the illustrations are on target as is the book's topic.
