This “Tiny Tab” picture book features chunky, easy to manipulate pages and pull tabs that will help your toddler participate in the search for Teeny Weeny’s Mommy. The tiny mouse is looking for his mom and he needs assistance opening windows, peeking behind shrubs, and looking high in a tree to see if his Mommy is there.

The search ends when Teeny Weeny sees someone hiding behind a big picnic basket. Is it his Mommy? Of course!

What’s nice about the large tabs is they are not only easy to pull back and forth but there are also creatures on both sides. In fact, a bonus here is the fact that the tabs reveal so many other creatures you can also turn this read aloud session into an identify the animal exercise.

An interesting side note is some toddlers may be inclined to chew on the nice big tabs. That’s not the type of literary meal you probably had in mind when you selected the book for reading, so keep an eye on your little one to avoid digestive distress.
