The
Rabbids Invasion offers a humorous version of the classic
“Twelve Days of Christmas” in this paperback.
Beginning with a “headache and a skinned knee”
on the first day, the “gifts” become more bizarre
as the days mount.
By the fourth
day nesting birds, leaky pens and barking dogs have been added
to the list and by day eight the sirens shrieking, bags-a-brimming,
and hoses spraying make for a pretty messy and irritating
situation.
This
is meant to be funny and most youngsters will probably think
it is, but their parents may not agree. The nonsensical silliness
and busy illustrations, which cram a lot on each page, will
make this a book your youngster will more than likely want
to share with his friends.
Warning:
Don’t let the grandparents see the section about the
“nine grandpas farting” – that might not
go over too well!
