This
limited text picture book shows the various ways you can say
“Hello!” to someone. While some of these actions,
such as a handshake or kiss, will be familiar to the reader,
others may have the person scratching his or her head. Whispering
in someone’s ear is a bit unusual, as is wiggling your
toes, but I guess that should get a laugh from a young person.
While
I didn’t find the text of this book that inspiring or
noteworthy, the illustrations are large and colorful. So if
your child is attracted to the book it, will be because he
or she loves the pictures. That’s OK because this is
a book for very young children so don’t question what
the appeal is!
