is written in English. The author incorporates Creole words
throughout the storyline. It’s a fun, entertaining read
for children. The story captures the energy of the characters
and their love of soccer. Jacqueline Alcántara’s
illustrations brings Pauos soccer story to life. The bold,
colorful illustrations are memorable. She captures the look
of the islands and the characters are all-inclusive. Great
teamwork between the author and the illustrator!
