How Much is a Million?

by David M. Schwartz
Pictures by Steven Kellogg

Have you ever wondered how much a million really is? Well, in this 20th anniversary edition of How Much is a Million, David M. Schwartz gives his readers an idea of just how much is a million, a billion, and trillion by using a tower of human kids, by how long it would take to count from one to that number, how it would fill a goldfish bowl, and the number of pages needed in order to show that many stars.

I remember books like this from Reading Rainbow when I was a kid, and going through this one has brought back all the joys of reading when I was younger. The illustrations are wonderful, and the information is so easy to understand that it will boggle your mind just how much a million, a billion, and a trillion really are.
