Forever Friends:
My Friendship Scrapbook and Bracelet Wheel
by Alex Toys
Illustrated by Pattie Silver-Thompson
I had barely gotten this book out of the package before my young daughter ran off with it to do the quizzes and
activities. By the time I got the book back to review, it was already personalized with the thoughts and dreams of
a tween girl, including what would be the perfect friends' hangout (my daughter's would include a zoo and a
waterfall), friendship poetry, friendship lists, and some super sleepover planning pages - there's even a chance to
try out your skills as an advice columnist. So I feel confident in saying this is a definitely a hit with its target
audience. The bracelet wheel was a great addition to the package as the complex braiding of some friendship bracelets
has been overwhelming to my eight year old, but she found the friendship wheel easy to use (and was delighted to
present her friend with a bracelet made just for her.) This would be a super gift for any tween girl on your list -
I know mine loved it. |
