This handy and well-illustrated book will help youngsters between the ages of four and seven distinguish the differences between these amphibians and reptiles.

Large color photos illustrate the various critters while the author includes basic information about them. At the back of the book there are also four pages of learning activities that will allow for the further study of these interesting creatures.

Although there’s not a lot of depth here, this book will provide some beginning basic exposure to these two types of animals. If your child is interested in more detail, then you’ll need to move on to a website or volume with more detailed information. This is a good “starter” book though!
