This level three Ready-to-Read book for advanced readers combines some fascinating "science stuff" with amusement parks. There's a section here on how a roller coaster operates, one on bumper cars and others on swinging pirate ships that rock back and forth, and rides that utilize centripetal force.

Want to know how the House of Mirrors works or why cotton candy melts when it hits your tongue? This is the book that will let you in on the secret.

What about the games you'll find, like Ring the Bell with a hammer or knocking down objects, to win a prize? You'll learn a little bit about these attractions too.

As the author uses science to explain what happens at a place most children love to visit, he also has created a high interest book that will get the youngster to use his/her reading skills too. This is a win-win situation all the way around!
