Another in the “Did You Know?” series of books, this new release focuses on things related to transportation. Besides ships, airplanes and cars there is information here on bridges and highways.

For example, did you know that some trains use magnets to travel up to 360 miles per hour? Have you ever heard of the Chengyang Bridge in China? It features five pagodas with porches and pavilions.

You’ll also discover that the longest undersea tunnel is in Japan and that a man in Sweden was fined nearly one million dollars for speeding at 180 miles per hour!

Fun facts like these make this book an enjoyable read and one that youngsters will wish to share with their friends.
