This is a book that intelligently intertwines many different characters from a small New Hampshire working-class town. You have characters that range from an air-guitar- playing college student to a victim of a moose accident to a store clerk who only thinks of the big, famous life of being a recording artist. At first, the book appears to be a collection of short stories, but the reader soon realizes that these characters are connected in sometimes very bizarre ways.

For a debut book, Graziano does a wonderful job in building the characters and giving them each their own personality. He does a great job in subtly connecting their lives with each other. He provides humor in his words, and at the same time, the reader feels for the characters. He allows the reader to be able to think about the importance these characters have in each other's lives.

If you are looking for a book that allows you to think and is not a bunch of fluff, pick up a copy of Graziano's debut book, Frostbite. You will not be disappointed when you read it.
