Dinah Miller is a creative writer whose talent captures your attention from the first page. Monday at The Charm is a moving story told through the eyes of four different women who work in different positions at the psychiatric clinic. The book recounts a twelve-hour day through the eyes of these women who are remarkable, yet very down-to-earth in their own distinct way. Each woman's beginning and ending of the day is recounted in separate chapters, beginning at 9:00 a.m. and ending at 9:00 p.m.

Dr. Miller's characters cover a wide variety of personalities and personal problems ranging from a transvestite husband to a son who's been stricken with cancer. I found myself comparing each woman with someone I know, due in part to Miller's talent for describing emotions as well as surroundings.

You breathe a sign of relief when you close Monday At The Charm, realizing that each woman has resolved her personal crisis in her on way.

Dinah Miller practices psychiatry in Baltimore where she lives with her husband and two children.
