This is a truly remarkable
story based on factual events about a woman named
Abby who has faced and overcome a lot of devastating obstacles in her
life. She was sexually abused by her step-father after her mother suddenly
passed away, raped several times, and then faced several abusive relationships.
The Wild Vine tells how she was able to overcome most of these horrible
things. This is a story about how important family is needed in devastating
times. Pesini and Wolf do a wonderful job in telling Abby's story. The
story line flows without any hitches. The ending was sudden but goes with
Abby's story of tragedy. Pesini and Wolf do a wonderful job in developing
Abby's character and the characters that Abby meets in her life. They
are able to have the reader feel compassion for Abby and hope that Abby
is able to take care of herself and her family.
If you enjoy reading
about how people overcome life's obstacles, you should pick up a copy
of this great book. You will not be disappointed.
