The
Lake House
Sequel to When the Wind Blows
By James
Patterson
In When
the Wind Blows, Kit and Frannie had rescued the bird children
from the outlaw lab known as the School. The six of them have been
farmed out to their natural parents, but none of them are happy
with the arrangement. Kit and Frannie are the only ones who seem
to understand that the kids are a flock and need to be together.
Though
Kit and Frannie have filed for custody of the children, they have
been left with their parents for now. The children continue to endure
the torments of "normal" children at school, and Max knows
other outlaw scientists will hunt for them soon.
When
that threat comes in the night, Max and her brother, Matthew must
flee while their parents sleep through the attack. They gather the
others and seek out the only people they feel will keep them safe,
Kit and Frannie. But how long can they keep them from Dr. Ethan
Kane, the brilliant mastermind of Resurrection?
The
Lake House is a thrilling sequel to When the Wind Blows.
The children are once again on the run, hiding from those who know
that Max knows too much. Yet, she knows as well what they drilled
into her. If she tells all, she dies. Can Kit and Frannie save them
this time? Only if Max talks will they ever be free.

will be a fan. I am.
