Domestic Affairs

by Eileen Goudge

Domestic Affairs by Eileen Goudge: FANTASTIC! This book is fast moving with twists and turns in every chapter that will keep you on your toes and guessing what will happen next. A great book!

Abigail lives in the home of her mother’s employer, well they both do, in a little cottage on the grand estate. Vaughn and Lila are twins, about the same age as Abigail and the three of them are inseparable, until one day when their lives will change forever.

Vaughn grows into the man that he always wanted to be, traipsing the world and taking photos of places and things that most of us will never get to experience in our lifetimes. The one thing that he doesn’t have is any commitments, to be there and do that. His life is his own and that suits him just fine.

Lila goes off to school and finds the man of her dreams. They build a life together, have two wonderful kids, and life is exactly the way it should be, until one day, everything changes forever.

I could give the story away, but I won’t, as this is one that you will want to read again and again. So at this point in my review I will just have to say this, buy the book!

Find out if the three of them find each other again, learn about the trials and tribulations each one of them has had to face in their lives. Discover just how strong some people are and what you can do if you are in the same situation. Life is tough, this book will prove that, but what it will also prove is that we all can do it, if we put our minds to it and we keep moving forward. Moving backwards is not an option!
