Embrace Me
believing is seeing

by Lisa Samson

Embrace Me by Lisa Samson is a unique book, one which I normally would not pick up and read, much less purchase. It's just not my typical cup of tea, if you know what I mean.

While the book is written very well, the story was a bit far fetched for me and I found my mind wandering to other things instead of sticking to the words in front of me. Will you like it, that is something that you will have to answer on your own.

What do a lizard woman, a self mutilating preacher, a tattooed monk, and a sleazy lobbyist have in common? Now that is the question of the day. If I told you in this review it would ruin the story for you. So I chose not to do that. Instead, I will say the author is very graphic in her description of each of these characters and you will find yourself saying, can anyone be that messed up? Yes they can and they are!

While this book will not make my top ten list, I would say it's worth reading if you like unique books. If that's the case, you should enjoy it.
