Sin No More
The Reverend Curtis Black Series, Book # 5

by Kimberla Lawson Roby

The saga of Curtis Black continues in this delightful novel. There’s nothing much I can do but praise this book from the first page until the very end. I was very disappointed when it ended. I wanted this book to continue forever.

In this segment, Curtis Black has mellowed down and is more into his wife, Charlotte. I couldn’t stand Curtis Black in the previous novels, but I like him in this one. Although he still has sins, at least now he’s aware of them. There are lessons to be learned in Sin No More, and high prices to pay for love.

Curtis still has to deal with one sin - his baby’s mother, Tabitha, who uses her child to get to Curtis.  Charlotte, who has problems of her own, also has to come to terms with her resentment of Curtis having a baby by another woman.  This novel will take you on a ride of spiritual forgiveness, devilish tendencies, sins and forgiveness, the gift of love and romance, and spiritual values.

Kimberla Lawson Roby is one of my favorite writers, and her books are a joy for me. I love reading them, and I wait in anticipation for the next one to come out. She’s a gifted writer, one who should be winning all kinds of awards, and everyone should take a look at her many books.  Ms. Roby is a voice that needs to be heard, and her books read by all readers.  Take a ride with Sin No More and come to terms with the sins in your life; and, in the process, enjoy a wonderful read.
