Dune Road

by Jane Green

I am a huge fan of Jane Green and have read most of the books that she has written. So when I heard that she had a new book about to be released, I was excited to get the opportunity to review it. As with all of Jane Green's books, this one is fast paced, detail oriented and well written. The flow is amazing and it's one of those books that you don't want to put down.

Kit Hargrove has been married a long time and finally discovers that she and her husband Adam just don't have any of the same interests anymore, and talking to one another seems to be a thing of the past. After many years of this, she finally has had enough. Even though she knows that it will not be easy to start over, she feels that in order to be a complete and happy person, she has to. So, Kit and Adam divorce. They continue to live in the same small Connecticut town and raise their two children together, yet separately.

Adam finds this new, fast-paced, single lifestyle both fun and exhilarating, until he finds he is thinking more and more about the family that he let get away. Is it too late for a fresh start?

Kit has a hard time beginning again, but after many years finally falls into a regular pattern, and one that she really does enjoy. So, finally, Kit is independent and self supporting. It feels good.

Some unexpected things find Kit—first, a great job with a famous author, and second, a new relationship with a gorgeous man. Life is just perfect... or is it?

From the first word to the last, this book covers every emotion and describes all of those feelings that anyone who has ever been divorced feels. It shows you just what kind of life you can have if you give yourself the time and space that you need and have encouragement from those close to you.

As with all of Jane's books, this one will be a hit. Enjoy!
