James Redfield goes to his popular New Age “Celestial” series to rejoin adventurer, Will James, as he searches for the mysterious document that explains the twelve “insights” that will bring world peace. Each step will bring the student closer to God.

Slowly, Will and his unnamed narrator begin their journey. They travel to Sedona, Arizona, one of the world’s places of power. They find and read the first few insights. But there is someone following them, someone who wants the Armageddon war to begin now to bring God back to Earth when they were ready. But Will and his friends are equally determined to stop that event from ever happening. They believe they can learn how from reading the remaining insights.

So, the chase is on, taking them through jungles, rivers, mountains and deserts. They were kidnapped, taken prisoner by the Egyptian army and the Armageddonists, as they followed the trail, eventually coming to Mt. Sinai. But, will they be able to find all parts of the document and actually stop the Armageddon War?

The book is well written, with a thrilling plot that keeps the reader deeply involved. The characters are fully human. They have strengths and weaknesses that come close to costing them their lives. I have no problem with the basic plot. I do not, however, agree with the New Age teachings. I am a Christian and will always believe the Bible tells the truth. God’s plan will be completed, no matter how much we would prefer to avoid the difficult times. He has a reason for all He does, and, though we may not see it at the time, He does it all for our own good. Read “The Twelfth Insight” and decide for yourselves.
