Sylvia Foster leaves her family farm to become a helper on the
farm of the Banks. She struggles to revive their failing farm and
makes her way into their hearts... When Aaron Blank returns, planning
to convince his family to sell the failing farm, he finds Sylvia
is back in his life. He had planned for a life away from the farm
and Sylvia's influence with his father will prevent his realizing
this.
Sylvia must figure out who she is and why she ran away from her
family, then find forgiveness for Aaron. The two must try to forgive
each other and find a way to fulfill their love.
This is another of Woodsall's excellent portrayals of the Amish
way of life. Her characters are believable. The atmosphere is charming
and relaxing with a true feeling of love and forgiveness.
It's a gentle, inspirational story I can't help but recommend.
