Elvis Presley:
The Family Album

by George Klein

Elvis Aaron Presley was born to Vernon and Gladys Presley in a two-room house in Tupelo, Mississippi on January 8, 1935. He grew to be known as the King of Rock and Roll. Listeners of music associate his name with taking rock music to new heights that were heard all around the world.

Elvis Presley: The Family Album is a magnificent tribute to a man whose life ended too suddenly. This collection shows Elvis from his early years all the way up to his last days. Author George Klein was a close friend of Elvis and received an up close and personal look at the King.

Each one of the 100 photographs tells its own special story. You can get lost in these pages as you are able to relive some of Elvis’s most memorable moments. Some of my favorite photos include his prom picture and his military uniform picture.

No true Elvis fan can be happy without adding George Klein’s Elvis Presley: The Family Album to their collection. This impressive collection captures the true essence of who The King of Rock and Roll truly was and how his voice was able to reach out and touch the entire world. Very highly recommended.
