Seduced by Madness
The True Story of the Susan Polk Murder Case
by Carol Pogash
Almost everyone has heard of Susan Polk and the murder of her husband Felix Polk, which occurred in October 2002. The
murder and outlandish trial which followed made national headlines. Susan Polk decided to act as her own attorney and
created a media circus during the trial. Was Susan Polk able to convince a jury that she was innocent of stabbing her
husband to death, or was she found guilty of cold-blooded murder?
It is very obvious that Carol Pogash was present throughout the trial and did extensive research for Seduced
by Murder. There are clear examples of Susan Polk’s dysfunctional personality and how it played out in her life
with her three sons. Readers will be able to get a true sense of what the jurors, DA and judge had to go through in
order to have this trial heard and concluded.
Seduced by Murder by Carol Pogash is one of the better true crime novels that this reviewer has read. It
is full of details that can only be given by someone who did the research and was present at the trial. |
