Dirty Bow Wow
A Tribute to Dogs and the Objects of Their Affection

by Cheryl and Jeffrey Katz

After the resounding success of their first Dirty Bow Wow book, Cheryl and Jeffrey Katz knew a sequel was in order. Dirty Bow Wow: A  Tribute to Dogs and the Objects of Their Affections is a tribute to dogs and the long-lasting bonds they form with their favorite toys.

Whether a well chewed squeaky toy, dirty tennis ball, filthy Frisbee, sorry looking stuffed toy or frayed piece of rope, the saliva soaked object that finds its way into a dog's mouth is a precious and highly prized possession.

Fifty full-page color portraits show a variety of canines and the eclectic range of beloved objects they refuse to part with. There's Amos and his headless quacking duck (the "quack" is gone too!), a cockapoo named Chili, who carries his blue and white rope toy everywhere, and Tenzing, a mutt who loves to nudge a large red balance ball around his domicile.

Each photo is accompanied by a short narrative about the dog, his toy and its antecedents.
