Author Grant R. Jeffrey has written an important book on the global-warming debate in The Global-Warming Deception: How a Secret Elite Plans to Bankrupt America and Steal Your Freedom. This is true not because all of his contentions are believable or all his research unbiased, but because it points out the great need for more research on the topic.

The author contends that the use of fossil fuels does little or nothing to cause the unusual weather patterns that have been observed, while the other side presents their proof that such action has done dire harm to our planet. More study needs to be done in order to reach a reasonable middle ground on the causes and cures for what has come to be known as global warming.

The author says a hidden elite is using falsified science to bankrupt the West, starve the Third World and force sovereign nations to support a globalist dictatorship. While this seems to be a radical assessment of the matter, it needs to be checked out. What if Jeffrey is correct on this account?

To be fair with the author, he has documented well but the documents come from people with the same views that the author holds. As good stewards / stewardesses of the planet, we need to study the author’s take on the matter as well as that of the global-warming advocates.
