A regular on major news stations, Robert Jeffress, delivers an interesting message about the state of the nation. While what he reports is true, haven't we heard this before? A failing nation on the verge of collapse and it boils down to the lack of Christian principles being responsible. That is the basis behind every act; "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

There is a chapter in the book entitled "For Pastors Only." I skipped it because of the obvious. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to cheat and take a peek or not so I didn't. Maybe the answer to the nation's trouble was in there, but I missed it.

The premise is good, the writing is good, and in theory the ideas are good, but I just couldn't bring myself to commit to Jeffress's message. I know you are saying it got rave reviews. Obviously, I must have missed something. So, check it out and see if you can enlighten me. If you like Jeffress and enjoy him on national news shows, I would suggest you pick it up. If not, you might get just as much from your weekly trek to church.
