The
cover alone will pique your interest. I found it quite humorous,
especially when I left it by the bathroom sink after a row
with my roommate. She probably didn't think it was as funny
as I did!
Sullivan
begins his vignette with stories about his dad's sense of
humor, and I can tell you from experience, I can relate. Of
course, after several dinner parties and having to listen
to the same old stories again, the humor wears off a little,
but watching the guests' faces never does. Sullivan has certainly
inherited the knack or at least the knack for sharing in this
humorous collection. Budget cuts keep him from getting a ticket,
a marketing idea for Depends for concert goers, and a day
in the life of Gus the cat are just a few of the short humorous,
slightly heartwarming, stories you'll enjoy. Makes a great
read for the train, plane, or automobile. |
