Murder
of a Pink Elephant
Scumble
River Series, No 6
By Denise Swanson
Denise
Swanson has done it again! She has continued to entertain this particular
reader with her next mystery starring the infamous school psychologist,
Skye Denison. In Murder of a Pink Elephant, Skye is forced
to deal with a murder mystery on a much closer level. Her brother,
Vince, has formed a band, Pink Elephant, and things start going
a little haywire, especially with a groupie and the murder of a
band member. Can Skye save her brother from being thrown in jail?
Ms. Swanson continues
to develop a strong character in Skye Denison. Skye's problems,
with the school life and now the addition of the mystery of her
brother's band mate, continue to show that Denise Swanson has some
knowledge of the subjects that she writes about. For example, the
musical knowledge demonstrated in the book shows that Ms. Swanson
has done some research in the area. She, in fact, acknowledges her
cousin for the help.
This
reader continues to encourage Ms. Swanson to continue on with the
series starring Skye Denison. Ms. Swanson is a great contributor
to the mystery genre.
