The Closers
Detective Harry Bosch #11

by Michael Connelly

Detective Harry Bosch is back and ready to work! He decides to come out of retirement and hooks back up with his former partner, Kiz Rider, only now he is not working homicide but dealing with cold cases. Cold cases are the cases that have never been solved. Bosch's first case is one of a girl's murder that due to the advance technology, a DNA match is found. Will Bosch be able to solve the murder? Will fellow coworkers attempt to stop him from being successful?

Michael Connelly continues to do excellent work with Detective Harry Bosch's character. Some authors become dry and boring with their ongoing characters. Certainly not Michael Connelly. When Harry Bosch went into retirement, some readers questioned if his series would continue. Mr. Connelly has done an outstanding job in bringing Harry Bosch back to work and in a different angle. He has managed to keep the writing and Harry's character fresh and exciting. The mystery of the murder of the young girl has many different angles despite the DNA match.

Any fan of Michael Connelly's will continue to appreciate his work in his latest, The Closers.
