London Bridges
Alex Cross Novel

By James Patterson
Read by Denis O'Hare & Peter J. Fernandez

    Two against one.

Alex Cross feels double cursed when he discovers both the Wolf and the Weasel are involved in the bombing of a town in Nevada and promise more of the same around the globe. The Wolf is a Russian mobster driven by his distorted view of control and greed. And the Weasel is a British psycho whose insanity is fed by his iniquitous desire to torment FBI agent Alex Cross. While various countries held hostage by The Wolf's powerful threat scramble to meet a deadline, Cross is sent from country to country to work with assorted partners in an attempt to stop this global catastrophe. It's a path of danger, uncertainty, and distrust. Series followers know Alex Cross is a fearless soul, but he is also an angry one. Both mad terrorists are from his past, and he's psyched at the chance of finally catching - or killing - them. With the aid of the FBI and CIA, as well Scotland Yard and Interpol, he just might.

     Unsurpassable.

In writing "London Bridges," Patterson may have put himself into difficult position. The author reaches some radical heights of suspense in his twists and turns, malicious adversaries and terrorist acts. The Wolf and the Weasel are by far the most evil characters he's created to date. The storyline as a whole is breath-shaking, nerve-wracking and unsurpassable. Patterson has his work cut out for him in coming up with something even more exceptional next time out.

Actors Denis O'Hare & Peter J. Fernandez narrate the audiobook version of "London Bridges." The duo voices with the sound effects increase the drama a hundredfold. It's a remarkable listen, not to be missed. Due to the violence and language, headphones are recommended in the company of children.
