The 5th Horseman
The Women's Murder Club Series
by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro
The fifth book in the "Women's Murder Club" series finds Lt. Lindsay Boxer facing a
serial killer who is preying on young girls and posing them in vehicles. Another problem
becomes high on Boxer's list when her good friend and member of the "club" finds her
mother has been given the wrong medication and dies as a result. Is this a case of murder
or was it a medical mishap?
The other girls in the "club" find themselves immersed in the trial of a local hospital
where numerous patients have died after being admitted for things that they should have
recovered from. Sad coincidence that it's at the same hospital where a "club" member has
lost her mother the same week this medical malpractice trial begins.
Lindsay and friends are hot on the trail of all involved, but can they find a way to
wrap this all up into a neat package? You can always count on James Patterson to give you
that extra twist to keep you turning the pages and waiting to see if everything will fall
where it belongs. Another good book, but a few things left unanswered. It will make you
wonder about the sixth book and if there will be one. We can hope. |
