Daddy's
Girl
by Lisa Scottoline
Natalie Greco, a mousey and naive law professor at he University of Pennsylvania, accompanies Angus Holt on a
teaching assignment at a nearby prison. During a sudden prison riot Natalie desperately tries to save the life of
a prison guard who was apparently stabbed by an inmate. The dying man asks her to pass on a cryptic message to
his wife. In her attempt to deliver the message she nearly gets herself killed. She is framed for murder and
must evade the law to find the hidden message and track down those trying to prevent her from revealing the
message the guard left.
This is a fast paced legal thriller which combines suspense with an intricate plot. Natalie is a down to earth
heroine with human weaknesses which strengthen and develop as the action develops.
This is a quick and enjoyable read.
