Dead Shot
by Annie Solomon
Young photographer, Gillian Gray, is obsessed by the 20 year old murder of her mother, a famous fashion model.
Gillian exhibits a series of self portraits which show her posed in various grisly murder scenes.
She is making herself a target, challenging her mother's killer to murder her. Her wealthy grandparents hire a
bodyguard, ex-cop Roy Pearce, to protect her. Soon someone begins to send out photos of his own, recreating
Gillian's images but using genuine dead women.
This is a psychological romantic thriller. The characters are compelling. Gillian is a smart but much damaged
heroine who must face her demons before she can come to terms with her mother's murder. The plot is well written,
the action fast moving, keeping the reader in suspense to the last page. |
