Evil, Inc
by Glenn Kaplan
Ken Olsen, young executive, is promoted to divisional director of a floundering Ohio
plastic manufacturer. He thinks he has everything: a promotion, a wife who is in charge of the company's child care
facility, and a beautiful young daughter. Then, an explosion at the plant kills 1000 people, including his wife and
daughter. An investigation into the explosion finds that there were deadly chemicals in the air conditioning system. All
signs point to sabotage on the part of a ruthless and corrupt CEO with ambitions. Olsen, however, is held responsible
and is forced to resign. To clear himself, and to find those responsible for the explosion and the deaths of his family,
he seeks the truth. In doing so he is targeted by those responsible, who will do anything to cover the truth and their
involvement.
A gripping tale of the battle for corporate control, this is a story that might well be in tomorrow's
headlines. The story is well plotted, well written and filled with nonstop suspense. The struggle of one man against the
powerful and ruthless who hold control over the corporate business world is frightening. |
