Tutu Deadly
Jenny Partridge series #1
by Natalie M. Roberts
Jenny T. Partridge is the founder of the premier dance school in Ogden, Utah. She’s a little eccentric and has to
deal with all of the mothers who think that their daughters are the best ballerinas in the world. Jenny, like many
people, lives paycheck to paycheck and tries to use money from a cookie dough fundraiser to keep her school open.
However, one of the participants ends up dead after eating her cookie dough. Can Jenny and her school survive the
investigation?
Jenny T. Partridge’s characterization is everything but what a person would imagine a ballet dancer to be. She’s
not prim and proper. She has lots of quirks that many would find annoying. She does however capture the eyes of a
local policeman, Tate, whom, at first, you would not think would be interested in a woman like Jenny. Needless to
say, Jenny’s quirks keep the investigators laughing and shaking their heads.
The mystery in Tutu Deadly is interesting enough, and the plot has twists and turns that are suggested
in the beginning and eventually carried out near the end. Readers have an idea of what happened but never know for
sure until the end.
Tutu Deadly is overall a fun mystery and fans of quick mysteries with a little bit of romance should
enjoy this one. |
