Another Thing to Fall
Tess Monaghan Mysteries #10
by Laura Lippman
Baltimore newspaper reporter turned private investigator Tess Monaghan finds herself engulfed in the world of
sitcom TV when she agrees to be part of a rising starlet's security detail. A mysterious suicide, some small fires
and a few random pranks make life on the set a little tense and the coquettish, young actress now has reason to
worry. Then a killer strikes, turning the heat way up and forcing Tess to earn her pay.
Dealing with a group of folks who make their living through convincing lies and hidden motives makes this a
difficult task, at best, but Tess will have to look behind the smiling, phony facades to unmask the killer before
her client is added to the rising body count.
This wicked, peek-behind-the-scenes look at TV Land also offers plenty of suspense and some very engaging
characters. Turn-off your television set for a night or two and read this mystery - you won't be sorry you did! |
