Blacklight Blue
An Enzo MacLeod Mystery #3
by Peter May
Enzo MacLeod is a Scottish forensic scientist who plans to use his expertise to solve seven notorious cold murder
cases described in a book by Roger Raffin, a Parisian journalist. He has already solved two cases. The next case he
undertakes is that of the brutal murder of a rent boy in a Paris apartment 16 years ago.
Ill fortune follows him into this undertaking. He is diagnosed with a terminal illness. His loved ones are
threatened. His credit has been destroyed. Finally he is arrested for murder. Someone is determined to destroy him
and prevent him from solving this case.
Blacklight Blue is a compelling tale of a chilling unknown enemy bent on destroying an individual. There
is an emotional tangle in the relationships between the characters. The reader has empathy for Enzo as he comes to
terms with his own impending death. The settings of France are vivid and realistic. |
