Corpse Pose
A Mantra for Murder Mystery
by Diana Killian
This is a very cute cozy-mystery-meets-a-slightly-paranormal-twist. This is the first book in the Mantra for
Murder series. The story line is easy to follow and fairly fast paced, and definitely engaging. While I normally
don’t read many cozy type books, I can honestly say that Diana Killian’s newest series is one I will be watching
for. Especially if she touches more on the paranormal aspects.
The slightly new age and holistic health aspect of the series is what drew me in at first. The main character,
A.J., really has her hands full with grieving for her murdered aunt, a new business, and an estranged mother, as
well as being recently and not so happily divorced. Things work themselves out in the end with a surprising and
interesting twist. I loved it! Be sure to check out the vegetarian recipes included with this book. They look
delicious! |
