She handles the gory crime scenes no one else wants and can help some of the ghosts pass over to the other side. When Sadie and her employee, ex-cop Zack, fill in for another company they find themselves in serious trouble. While cleaning up a meth lab site being used by a biker gang they interrupt a satanic ritual and save a newborn baby. Turning the baby over to the police and also the money she finds at yet another of the biker gangs meth sites, Sadie has set herself up for serious trouble. Seeking revenge, the bikers want their missing money back and someone wants to replace the baby that Sadie has taken from them. With bikers roaming her neighborhood, a pregnant sister and psychic friends, Sadie has her hands full. A possible romance with Zack, and some employees she’s not so sure she wants, keep things rolling along. Sadie will have to make some discoveries relating to her brother's suicide if she wants to figure out how to get them all out of trouble before the bikers can get to her or her loved ones. Sadie returns in this, the second of a three book Ghost Dusters Mystery series. The third is set to be published in December 2009. Offering a great storyline, with funny and interesting characters, the Ghost Duster Mystery series is a fun, contemporary mystery read. |
