Ghost of a Chance

by Kate Marsh

Ghost of a Chance, by Kate Marsh, was a cute book. Not my usual type of book to read or review, but I am glad I had the opportunity to sample some of Kate's work. Her whimsical, funny style of writing is not one I gravitate towards or go out of my way to read, but I found this a very cute, well written book.

Karma Marx - what a name, right? - fits right in with the storyline of this book. She exorcises haunted houses. But more to the point, she lives with a houseful of imps and other not-so-alive creatures, making for a very lively day with things here and there and always underfoot.

Karma and her ex-husband, Spider, parted on not-so-good terms, yet they still share the same home, if only temporarily. You see, Karma will get the chance to find out what killed Spider while they are living under one roof.

Nothing came into the home as far as Karma can discern. So that leaves only those who live there along with Karma to have played a major role in Spider's demise. A lot of crafty yet inappropriate things take place during this story, and it will leave you wondering just how it all happened. Keep reading, as it will all come out in the end!

Enjoy a cute, fun read while sitting by the fire sipping your favorite drink.
