Mr. Monk Goes To Germany
Mr. Monk series Book #6
by Lee Goldberg
Mr. Monk Goes To Germany is an entertaining mystery with a quirky cast of characters. I loved visiting Germany
with Adrian Monk and his personal assistant, Natalie Teeger, and equally enjoyed his quirky out-of-this-world
personality and his talent for solving murders. Mr. Monk Goes To Germany is a fast-paced, fun mystery to read.
Adrian Monk consults on homicide cases with Captain Leland Stottlemeyer. Monk's detective brilliance comes from
an obsessive-compulsive disorder and his many phobias. He was once a homicide detective with the San Francisco
police force but that was before his wife, Trudy, died in a car bombing that remains unsolved and haunts Monk to
this very day. To Monk, an unsolved murder is like a story with no ending or a puzzle piece missing from a puzzle.
He has an overwhelming need to put each puzzle piece in its proper place. All puzzles must be solved before Monk's
mind can find rest.
Monk becomes unglued when his psychiatrist, Dr. Kroger, goes to Lohr Germany for a week to attend a conference.
So along with his personal assistant, Natalie Teeger, Monk books a flight and heads off to Germany. After arriving
in Germany Monk spots a man with six fingers on his right hand and believes this to be the man responsible for his
late wife's death. Will Monk's uncanny ability to solve murders help him prove this six-fingered man is indeed the
man responsible for Trudy's untimely death? |
