Patriot Acts
An Atticus Kodiak novel #6
by Greg Rucka
Atticus Kodiak has settled down with Alena Cizkova, a female assassin. He has taken her away from Ten Member, a
group of killers who operate around the globe. She has left her assassin days behind her. They are building a new
life for themselves in a tiny village on the Black Sea, a safe haven - they hope - from the Pentagon.
He is ambushed and left for dead. But then they become the target of a massive manhunt after being mistakenly
identified as Ten Members. They try to clear their names and punish those responsible for the death of a close
friend. Their search finds a conspiracy that reaches high up in government circles.
This fast paced adventure is full of action with intense shoot-up scenes, some of which are vicious. It is
well written with excellent characterization. Rucka injects some biting political commentary in this narrative,
giving the reader food for thought. |
