Scots / Spanish Inspector Max Romero is caught up in the Muslim community in Granada, Spain. A
pretty young graduate student, Leila Mahlouz, daughter of the British minister, was living in the
village of Diva, near Granada, and writing her thesis on the Spanish Civil War when she was
found murdered.
Romero's investigation leads him into a politically motivated inquiry into the European Training
Center for Young Muslims. He assists the local police who must deal with antiterrorist groups. They
must find the real culprit before the fragile situation escalates.
Blood Wedding is a thoroughly provoking mystery with an intriguing plot. Its background
includes the Spanish Civil War and other areas of interest involving the culture and history of the
region. The character are well developed with all too human characteristics.
