Cry in the Night
Rock Harbor Series #4

by Colleen Coble

Cry in the Night by Colleen Coble—all I can say about this book is WOW!

This book had my attention from the very first pages and kept me engrossed throughout the whole book. That doesn't happen much.

Just when I thought I had the plot all figured out, another person was thrown into the mix thrown into the mix, leaving Who Done It a mystery.

Bree Matthews trains search and rescue dogs and her adoring husband, Kade, is a park ranger.  They have a son, Davey, and life is good now.  In the past, Bree has had a bit of bad luck. Her first husband, Rob, was killed in a plane crash, and Davey was with him.  For a whole year, his whereabouts were not known until one day, Sampson, their search and rescue dog, found Davey alone in the woods.

Moving forward, Davey witnesses what he thinks is a Windigo putting a baby in the snow.  Then he is almost kidnapped, but Sampson again comes to his rescue.  What does Davey, the Baby, the death of Pia, Victor and Florence and the kidnapping have in common, or do they have anything in common?

How many other infants are missing from their homes?  Many more than you can imagine, but why?  Who is responsible?  Like I said, this book is one twist after another, and they all lead back to the same place.

I could go on and on, but I won't; that would ruin the story for you.  This is one of those books that you will read and pass along to a friend to read, and so on and so on.

Enjoy this book, I did!
