Face of a Killer
1st in New Series featuring FBI Forensic Artist Sydney Fitzpatrick

by Robin Burcell

Twenty years ago, Sydney Fitzpatrick's father was killed in a robbery in the family pizza parlor—twenty years that Sydney has tried to put his death behind her and get on with the life she has chosen. She is now a forensic artist for the FBI.

Now the man convicted for her father's murder is about to be executed. Sydney could let it go at that, but after being called to help a rape victim put together a composite of her attacker, Robin draws a picture of a man who could be an exact twin to the man who is on death row.

Against strong objections from her mother, Senator Donovan Gnoble, and even her fiancé, Sydney feels she must speak to Johnnie Wheeler, her father’s accused killer, before his execution.

Even after twenty years, Wheeler is proclaiming his innocence, and Sydney thinks there may be a grain of truth in what he says.

As she investigates the old case, Sydney discovers her father may not be the man she thought he was. Her investigation leads her into a world of danger where people will do anything to keep her from discovering the truth.

This is the beginning of a wonderful new series. Robin Burcell is the author of the Kate Gillespie series. Robin was at one time an FBI forensic artist and brings her expertise to this new series. I look forward to more.
