Little Blue Whales

by Kenneth R. Lewis

Little Blue Whales, by Kenneth R. Lewis, was a great book to read and I truly enjoyed it.

This is one of the better books I have read in quite some time. Little Blue Whales is a mystery / suspense novel that leads you down a certain path, then, just when you thought you had it all figured out, that path got seriously twisted.

Kevin Kearnes lands a new job in a new city and leaves behind a life he wants to forget. The only part of his past that he is having a hard time forgetting is his two little boys who live with their mother... where, he is not quite sure. Life for Kevin has been anything but normal or ordinary, but that is one part of the story that I can't divulge at this time, you will have to read the book to find out more on this topic.

Kevin begins a new job as the Chief of Police in a small Oregon town. Battling within the local political arena is just part of the balancing act Kevin must take on to do his job and make sure that the seaside community stays safe. He took the job to forget something from his past, because he thought that living in the small, coastal town would help him do just that. Unfortunately it's worked quite the opposite.

The biggest mystery Kevin must solve is the serial killings of adolescence boys in small, coastal towns. Some of the evidence rings a bell with Kevin, but at first he is not sure why. Trying to find this killer proves to be a game of follow-the-leader. You just don't know who is leading who, or why.

I would recommend this one if you love a good suspense novel! Enjoy!
