The Samaritan's Secret
An Omar Yussef Mystery

by Matt Beynon Rees

This mystery starts off powerfully, and continues this momentum until the last word is read. Complex story line, but a well written book.

When Omar Yussef and his family are invited to the wedding of a good friend, they are excited to be included, but who knew that a mystery was on the very near horizon? Weddings are supposed to be full of well-being and excitement in a happy way, but throw in a great mystery and you have an astounding turn of events.

The Samaritan culture is a very superstitious one. Which means that when a young man appears to have been murdered on the site of an ancient temple, emotions run high and wild, and that's before people start asking about all the millions of dollars the young man controlled for former President Arafat.

Omar is determined to locate the missing money, find the killers, and bring this case to a proper conclusion. The turn of events that unfold will keep you intrigued and guessing, yet the details will not be so easy to figure out. From start to finish you will be sitting on the edge of your seat, and the final outcome will be a mystery in itself.

Typically this is not a book that I would pick up at the local bookstore and read; however, it’s enlightening and gives a direction that is unique in the way it’s written, which will make it a good read.
