The Eleventh Victim
A Thriller

by Nancy Grace

When Harley Dean's fiance was murdered on the eve of their wedding, she turned to prosecuting violent crimes to end crime. A serial killer is stalking Atlanta, targeting young prostitutes. Harley, a successful Atlanta assistant district attorney, successfully prosecuted chef Clinton Burrell Cruise for the murder of 12 prostitutes. This proves to be her last courtroom battle. She has had too much.

She leaves for Manhattan where she begins a career as a therapist. After 2 years, someone starts to murder her clients in the manner of Cruise, who has been released from prison after a reversal of his sentence on appeal. But the New York police consider Harley to be the only suspect. She must find the real killer. Only by reaching into her past is she able to do this. Her search leads her to a surprising and dangerous confrontation.

This is a tense plot. The suspense builds to an unexpected climax. This is a well written book with solid characterization.
