Maryland police detective Dani Cole is called back from the death
of her father to investigate the murder of a former prostitute named
Rosie. Dani had helped Rosie to start a new life. In her investigations
she finds a link between Rosie and Russell Sanders, director of
the J M Sheridan Foundation. She reconnects with her old flame Mitch
Sheridan, the foundation owner and famous photojournalist.
Five
more prostitutes are brutally killed. The killer is killing to punish
them for their secrets. It becomes a race for Dani and Mitch to
stop the killer before he kills again. This time his target is Dani.
Last
to Die is a well written romantic thriller. The plot is intricate
with complex characters. It is fast moving- bound to keep the reader
in suspense throughout.
