The Pyramid of Doom

By Andy McDermott

Now married to her bodyguard, ex-SAS operative Eddie Chase, Nina Wilde is finding that matrimonial bliss is not everything it is cracked up to be, especially when the couple falls on hard times.

All of that quickly changes, though, when the couple meets Mary Sharif, a student, who makes a startling revelation about the lost pyramid of Osiris and a map that points to its whereabouts.

Nina knows that if the temple really exists and can be found it will change everything currently known about Egyptian history. Responding to Mary’s plea for help and explaining why the girl has attracted some very “unwanted” attention, Nina tells Mary “The guys chasing you obviously believe it’s real enough to kill for.”

That’s all Nina and Eddie need to launch another treasure hunt, one that will take them from New York to Monaco to the isolated sands of Egypt. Obviously, there are others equally interested in the riches Osiris’ tomb holds and the 6,000 year old secret won’t be uncovered without a fight – a deadly one.

If you’ve read any of the other four books in this series (The Hunt for Atlantis, The Secret of Excalibur, The Tomb of Hercules or The Covenant of Genesis), you are familiar with Andy McDermott’s narrative abilities. This British author’s archeological thrillers have grown in popularity and attracted a widening fan base on both sides of the Atlantic. After you’ve read just one of these action packed stories you’ll be hooked too!
